1 to 1 Private Pilates Sessions

 

A personal training session is the most effective way to learn, practice and perfect your Pilates performance. Little tweaks in life can make a big difference.

 

Individual programming suited to your body and your needs will make Pilates accessible and enjoyable and you will achieve optimum results. Pilates is a very efficient form of exercise.

 

After each session you will feel better. You will feel a little stronger, a little lighter, a little taller, a little more confident and most important of all, a sense of calm.

Over time Pilates will help you to move with more confidence and grace. You will have a better understanding of your body and improved biomechanics.

 

Caring for your body is one of the most important investments of time and energy you can make. Private Pilates sessions are more exercise, they are dedicated time for you and only you. Supportive, encouraging, nurturing.

Initial Session

 

Your first session will be 60-75 minutes in length.  A Pre-exercise Health Questionnaire will be emailed to you once your first session is booked. The information you provide assists with tailoring a program that best suits you current health and fitness, any injuries and your goals. We will discuss this at your first session.

 

If you’re new to Pilates during your first few sessions you will learn the STOTT PILATES® basic principles and do workouts of fundamental Pilates exercises.

 

Ongoing Sessions

 

Sessions are 55 minutes and based on your individual program.

90 minute sessions are also available.

Your program will be designed to focus on your specific postural issues, needs and goals. A variety of Pilates apparatus will be featured to challenge your brain and your body.  You’ll get a good work-out, have fun and challenge yourself.

 

Please wear active wear or comfortable clothing that allows you to move with ease. Fitted clothing makes it easier for your instructor to see how you are holding your body and to guide you.  For your safety & hygiene, Pilates grip sox are essential for all sessions.  A selection of Pilates sox are available for sale.
